Chicago Fittings is a product line of A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co., offering specialty joining solutions for the natural gas and propane markets. Our most successful product would be the X-Riser®, which is defined as the only natural gas and propane riser to contain absolutely no underground joints.
Chicago Fittings was established in 1930 by the Kelly family as part of Kelco Industries. Originally located in Broadview, Illinois, the company later moved to Woodstock, Illinois. In 2004, Joe Tarquini purchased Chicago Fittings and led the company through a period of growth that included moves to Belvidere, Illinois, and ultimately Beloit, Wisconsin, in 2015. In 2017, Chicago Fittings was acquired by A.Y. McDonald. Today, Chicago Fittings continues as a product line of A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co., carrying forward its recognized products, expertise, and history.
The Chicago Fittings product line has been and continues to be recognized more prevalently for the ability to provide “Engineered Solutions”. While certified to ISO 9001:2015, we are committed to a quality management system though the framework of continuous improvement.
